La Casa Vieja is a tapas restaurant & bar in St Helens with traditional decor, serving authentic dishes and imported beer and wine. We aim to provide a little piece of Spain in the North West. Feel the real flavour of Spain with Tapas and Cerveza or one of our delightful Cocktails. We also offer a Take Away service, so that you can enjoy our authentic food from the comfort of your own home.

About Us & Our Values
We have been established for over 20 years. A small family-run business run by Manuel Estupinan. Manuel is the head chief, orginally from the Canary Islands of Spain. All our dishes are freshly cooked using the finest possible ingredients. All our ingredients are locally sourced on a daily basis.
La Casa Vieja is a Spanish Tapas Restaurant and Bar, located just off Bickerstaffe Street in the heart of St Helens, Merseyside. We are firmly established as the favourite place for people who value a superb dining experience,
authentic Spanish food, a wide choice, sophisticated yet informal surroundings, friendly professional service and above all….sensible prices. Our aim is to provide top quality Tapas, using the best ingredients that we can obtain,
in stylish surroundings with a friendly, efficient service.

We are open all year round, expect Christmas day. Bank holidays are bookings only. Our opening times are as follows:

We have a wide selection of fresh fish or meat dishes. If you wish to pre-order a specific steak, fish or shellfish such as lobster please phone and enquire.
If at all possible at La Casa Vieja we prefer our customers to pay by cash. This is to help us avoid paying excessive bank charges
for accepting payments by debit/credit cards, thank you!
Deposits are taken for large bookings when your reservation is made at £10 per head and £15 per head during December for Christmas bookings for party's of over 6 people. The deposit is taken off the bill at the end of the evening. There is a service charge on cakes. Party's for over 8 people can book in advance from £20 per head. If a member of your party cannot make the reservation we need to know at least 24 hours in advance or the deposit will not be refunded.
